Technical difficulties happen to the best of us, even Ryan Seacrest.
On Friday, Dec. 30, the TV personality, who was set to reprise his role as the host of Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve found himself trapped in an elevator under the ball in Times Square just before he was set to appear on Good Morning America.

Always the good sport, Seacrest tweeted humourous things from within the elevator as he and other staff members awaited help. Fortunately, Seacrest was rescued from the elevator by the Fire Department of New York and made it to his interview. He and Jenny McCarthy even made it to the top (sans hiccups) to test out the ball.

Thank goodness! New Year's Eve wouldn't have been the same without him.
