After the men tell Hetty that Sullivan is really CIA Officer Ferris, she gets under the cover of a blanket before setting off her brooch. The rest of the team, who are nearby after pinging her car, see the explosion and run to the site. Sharov is dead while Sabatino and Carl are wounded. As the team sees Hetty is alright, Carl grabs a gun to try and shoot Whiting. The team shoots him dead but Whiting takes a bullet to the neck. Deeks rushes over to hold the wound and he confesses to killing Boyle, assuring her she is not going to die.
