Margot Robbie morphs into figure skater Tanya Harding for new biopic (Photos)

Margot Robbie is almost unrecognizable on the set of the new Tanya Harding biopic where she will be taking on the role of Harding, the disgraced former figure skater.

Robbie, 26, was spotted on Monday, Jan. 16 wearing a body suit and face prosthetics to look more like Harding. The costuming, which includes high-waisted jeans and a curly blonde wig, embodies the '90s.

The biopic will follow Harding's iconic rivalry with fellow figure skater Nancy Kerrigan in 1994, according to Entertainment Weekly.  It will further examine Harding's training for the 1994 Olympics while her now ex-husband, Jeff Gillooly, (to be played by Captain America star Sebastian Stan) plans a brutal sabotage on Kerrigan.

The actress who will take on the role of Nancy Kerrigan has not been announced yet.

This is the first time the Suicide Squad star has been spotted since her secret wedding to longtime boyfriend Tom Ackerley in December.

A Robbie fan Twitter account tweeted out the photos of the Australian actress in her Harding costume.

The film, titled I, Tonya will be released in 2018.
