The 21st season of The Bachelor premiered Monday, Jan. 2 as this season's bachelor Nick Viall met the women who will be fighting for his heart.
Viall is known for being a runner-up not once, but twice during two separate seasons of The Bachelorette. Viall first aired on season 10 of The Bachelorette during Andi Dorfman’s season in 2014. After being runner-up to Josh Murray, Viall gave it another shot and looked to find love with Kaitlyn Bristowe on the season 11 of The Bachelorette in 2015. After turning him down, Viall then gave it another shot on the recent season of Bachelor in Paradise but had no luck in finding love.
During the premiere of The Bachelor, Viall admitted he couldn't be more grateful to be the bachelor but that his biggest fear is getting his heart broken.
“I know a thing or two about a broken heart,” Viall said.
