Arts and Crafts for Teens
Crayola Art with Edge

Adult coloring books are all the rage. I’m glad Crayola stepped up and created their Crayola Art with Edge coloring line geared towards teens. These books have a modern, pop culture feel with zombies and skulls included in the mix. The pages are perforated for ease of removal and are a good size for framing. They can be found at places where Crayola products are sold as well as on their website here.
Hannah adds: “The zombie adult coloring books let me be a kid but the gore makes it even better for my inner horror film lover to come out.”
Haute Art Designs

Creative girls who enjoy making things would love to make useable art in the form of accent pillows for themselves, or to give as gifts. Haute Art Designs has 10 designs to choose from and multiple options regarding the maker’s skill level. Each set features 12 expert paint tubes, two brushes, artist’s pallet, one printed color insert and a pillow cover with a sewn-in tag that can be personalized with a handwritten message and reads: “Made with LOVE for you.” Haute Art Design may be found here.
Painterly Days

There aren’t too many grown up art kits out there for people who want their creative juices to flow, but don’t necessarily want to start something from scratch. Painterly Days is called the World's First WATERcoloring Books for Adults (2016). This unique series gives teens and adults an opportunity to try their hand at watercolor painting. These can be done alone or as a group. The books are filled with beautiful images as well as the advice of their gifted author and artist Kristy Rice. Painterly Days can be found in many stores and on Amazon, but can also be found here.
Kuhn Rikon Frosting Filler Deco Set
Some teens like to express their creativity through food. The Kuhn Rikon Frosting Filler Deco Set has many pieces and tips to create a variety of designs. This is easy to use and fun to try out. This is a thoughtful gift for a teen who likes to bake. This can be found here.
International Fashionista's Lookbook Diary

Younger tweens and teens with an interest in fashion will love the International Fashionista’s Lookbook Diary by Dana Lardner and Deanna Kei. This hybrid coloring book/diary will help introduce a budding fashionista with looks from 10 different countries, as well as encourage her to create her own looks. The size of the book also makes it convenient for girls to carry around. The teen testers enjoyed this, even though it was meant for younger girls. This can be purchased at Amazon here.
