Comedian and Everybody Hates Chris actor Ricky Harris passed away on Monday, Dec. 26. He was 54.
His manager, Cindy Ambers, confirmed his death to The Hollywood Reporter and revealed that he died of a heart attack.
Harris had roles in hit films including Poetic Justice alongside Janet Jackson and Tupac Shakur and Heat starring Al Pacino and Robert De Niro. He also appeared on the small screen in Moesha, The Game, Bones and The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story, but he was perhaps best known for his reoccurring role in the comedy Everybody Hates Chris.
He is survived by his mother and two daughters.
Upon hearing the news of his death many celebrities took to social media to react and pay tribute to the late actor.
