Debbie Reynolds updates fans of Carrie Fisher on her condition

After her daughter Carrie Fisher suffered a heart attack, Debbie Reynolds took to social media to give an update on how she was doing.

On her Twitter account, Reynolds said Fisher was now in “stable condition” and also let everyone know that any updates would come straight from the family.

She continued saying, “For all her fans & friends. I thank you for your prayers and good wishes.”

Fisher’s half-sister, Joely Fisher, also shared a photo from her Christmas Eve dinner with a caption to let supporters know “The incredible outpouring of love and prayers has been felt.”

Their other sister, Tricia Fisher, also thanked supporters for their well wishes on Twitter.

As previously reported, the 60-year-old actress was on a flight from London to LA when she suffered a heart attack. An EMT was on board and immediately administered CPR.

Since the news spread of Fisher’s condition, fans and friends of the actress immediately poured out their love for the actress.

After the news of singer George Michael’s passing, Patton Oswalt brought up Fisher, likening the news to Michael making an exchange for the Star Wars actress.
