Amy Schumer gave her father a Christmas present to remember.
Taking to her Instagram page, the comedienne posted a screenshot of herself as she was FaceTiming with her dad. She revealed in the campion, “Today I bought my father’s farm back.”
Schumer also shared a home video of herself on the farm with her father. In the video, she is seen walking in a cornfield and urging her dad to come along.
She revealed that their family “lost the farm when we lost everything else. But today I got to buy it back for him.”
Her dad, Gordon, has multiple sclerosis and Schumer said that her family got through difficult times with laughter. According to People, she said that when her father was in pain, she “kind of took the lead and took care of everybody in the family. I would keep them- I would keep everybody laughing.”
