Jon Favereau’s 2003 film Elf starring Will Farrell, Zooey Deshanel, Mary Steenburgen, James Caan, Bob Newhart and a pre-Game of Thrones Peter Dinklage as a dwarf who cannot abide being called an elf, isn’t just a funny holiday movie. It is a good movie anytime.
