Richard Sherman responds after wife of Buffalo Bills kicker says he should be castrated

Buffalo Bills kicker Dan Carpenter’s wife, Kaela, said that Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman should be castrated after Monday night’s game and Sherman responded to her via social media.

According to CBS Sports, Sherman hit Carpenter as he was trying to make a field goal at the end of the first half. Sherman didn’t get a penalty for the hit and Kaela wasn't to happy about it. She thought Sherman should have been penalized and called him out via Twitter.

“I know what we do on the farm when a male can't control his own rage #LuckyImNotThereActLikeAnAnimalGetTreatedLike1,” along with a picture of a castrator suggesting that Sherman should be castrated.

Sherman then responded to the tweet by thanking Kaela and telling her to have a nice day.

The league's senior vice president of officiating Dean Blandino said after the game that Sherman should have been penalized for unnecessary roughness, NFL.com noted. Sherman was only flagged for being offsides on the play and believes that's all he should have gotten a penalty for.

"I went straight for the ball. I didn't go for the kicker. I slid for the ball," Sherman explained. "He should have not kicked it. Maybe he wanted to. I went for the ball. That's where I went. So if the ball gets tipped on the play, the rule is if it's tipped there's no flag."

He added that he was trying to block the kick and that he played until the whistle was blown.

The Seahawks won the game 31-25.
