‘Gilmore Girls’ revival to premiere after Thanksgiving

Netflix is reviving the popular Gilmore Girls series! The announcement was made last October and ever since fans have been going bananas waiting for further information.

The comeback series will be premiering Nov. 25 at 12:01 PST. The makers of Gilmore Girls picked the day after Thanksgiving to give fans that warm feeling of watching their favorite classic comedy-drama series while eating leftovers. According to Vogue, some sources have been leaking new details about the show but creator Amy Sherman has been cautious about releasing too much information and now fans are speculating what will happen.

Fans are also wondering who will return to the series. Sherman couldn’t possibly do a revival without including the three Gilmore Girls: Lorelai (Lauren Graham), Rory (Alexis Bledel), and Emily (Kelly Bishop). In addition Lorelai’s “boo thang” Luke (Scott Patterson), ex-husband Christopher (David Sutcliffe), and all three of Rory’s boyfriends, Dean (Jared Padalecki), Jess (Milo Ventimiglia) and Logan (Matt Czuchry) are all expected to return. A handful of supporting characters have also decided to jump on board including Paris Geller (Liza Weil), as well as Michel (Yanic Truesdale), Miss Patty (Liz Torres) and Kirk (Sean Gunn).

Since the report, a Gilmore Girls Twitter fan page has been set up and blowing up in anticipation of the Netflix revival.

Fans are overwhelmed with all of the excitement. Make sure to tune in on tonight's first episode, you don't want to miss it.
