Freeform has renewed Young & Hungry for a new season.
Freeform has announced Oct 27 that Young & Hungry has been renewed for Season 5. The new season will begin production next week and the premiere will be in 2017.
The Young & Hungry will continue to revolve around the young food blogger (Emily Osment), who goes to work for a wealthy entrepreneur (Jonathan Sadowski), as his personal chef.
According to Hollywood Reporter , Freeform is so invested in Young & Hungry that it is currently developing a spinoff of the comedy centered on Aimee Carrero and Ashley Tisdale's characters.
The American sitcom Young & Hungry is created by David Holden and executively produced by Ashley Tisdale in association with CBS Television Studios.The multi-camera series will continue to star Emily Osment, Jonathan Sadowski, Aimee Carrero, Kym Whitley and Rex Lee, for the new season.
While the network has decided to continue investing in this show, other shows such as Guilt, will not be renewed due to insufficient ratings.
