5. Psycho (1960)- Shower scene
Striking fear into the hearts of audiences everywhere, the shower scene in Psycho is known for its orchestration just as much as its visuals. Harsh, biting and cruel, rarely has such a violent act been captured so perfectly in audio representation. Composer Bernard Herrmann deserves accolades for this one.
