Rihanna makes emotional plea via social media after backup dancer goes missing

Rihanna has made a plea to the public for help in finding her former backup dancer, Shirlene Quigley, who went missing on Oct. 23.

Quigley hasn't been seen she boarded a bus in New York City around 1 a.m. Sunday and on Monday, RiRi took to social media in hopes that someone knows what happened to the 32-year-old woman.

The singer posted a video of Quigley talking about her love for all the people in her life and captioned it, "This beautiful soul, and former dancer of mine is MISSING!!! My heart aches thinking of how heavy this is on all who love her! If anyone has seen or has any information on @shirlenequigley's whereabouts ..... PLEASE CONTACT the North Bergen Police Department 201 392 2100 !!!!"

In addition to performing with Rihanna, Quigley danced backup with Missy Elliott as well. The rapper also took to Instagram and asked for prayers and the public's help in locating her.

UPDATE: The North Bergen Police Department in New Jersey announced that Shirlene Quigley has been found safe and will be reunited with her father who is flying in from Los Angeles.
