Mariah Carey has been forced to cancel a portion of her Latin American tour stating that it is due to "promoter negligence."
The singer has been forced to cancel part of her tour in Brazil, Argentina and Chile. Carey chucked this up to "promoter negligence" and according to E! News, said this in a statement, "To all of my lambs in South America, I am devastated that a portion of this tour had to be cancelled."
The singer continued her statement by thanking her fans for their support. "Thank you for all of the excitement and love—I hope to see you soon, my darlings!"
Since tickets to those shows have already been sold, fans will receive a full refund due to the last-minute cancellations. While the portions of her tour in South America will not be happening her performances next month in Central America including in Mexico City and Monterrey, will go on as scheduled so fans at those locations will be able to see Carey perform.
