Amber Tamblyn revealed she was sexually abused by an ex
Actress Amber Tamblyn revealed she dealt with sexual abuse in a prior relationship.
She posted the story in response to the video of Donald Trump and Billy Bush making comments that revealed where Trump liked to grab women.
On her Instagram page, Tamblyn posted a deeply personal story that she shared with the support of her husband, David Cook. In the caption, she described the horrific moment an ex-boyfriend grabbed her and violated her.
She said “That part of my body, which the current Presidential Nominee of the United States Donald Trump recently described as something he’d like to grab a woman by, was bruised from my ex-boyfriend’s violence for at least the next week.”
Editor’s Note: The caption in the photo below describes a graphic sexual assault.

Tamblyn wrote on Twitter after her Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants co-star America Ferrera tweeted about her post that her friend was one of her support systems after the attack.
Friends like America helped me survive those years. Gratitude for everyone's support. Let's keep Trump out of the White House, shall we? https://t.co/OJSG37ft8z
In her own words, Tamblyn wrote she was afraid of her dad reading the story since he did not know it happened. She revealed they spoke since the Instagram post was written.
My dad read the story. We talked. "I'm glad you told it publicly," he said. "Women aren't to be grabbed. They're to be elected President."
