The wait for an *NSYNC reunion is over.
All of the guys from the hit '90s boy band joined each other's company to celebrate JC Chasez's 40th birthday. This means that Justin Timberlake, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick were all in attendance at Chasez's celebration on Aug. 8.
Timberlake, currently heating up the music charts with "Can't Stop the Feeling!" snapped a photo of the group for Instagram, captioning the picture with "JC's 40th...And if you don't know, now you know."
This marks another rare *NSYNC outing as the last time the former boy band were spotted together was during Timberlake's 2013 MTV Video Music Awards performance, where Timberlake collected the Michael Jackson Vanguard award.
Previously, there had been a rumor there would be an *NSYNC reunion. The "Bye, Bye, Bye" singers were to reunite last February for SNL's 40 Anniversary special, even sending fans in a frenzy when their official Twitter page tweeted, "'Together again...Gee, it's good to be together again'#SNL40." However, bad weather forced some of the members out of the event.
Albeit that the boys got together for a celebration, we should not pull out our party hats anytime soon. There has been no word on new music from the group hitting airwaves.
*NSYNC disbanded after their final album in 2002, Celebrity.
