The Los Angeles Dodgers and the Oakland Athletics agreed to a multi-player deal on Monday, before the trade deadline.
According to ESPN, the Athletics traded outfielder Josh Reddick and pitcher Rich Hill to the Dodgers. The Dodgers are sending pitching prospects Grant Holmes, Frankie Montas and Jharel Cotton to the Athletics. Reddick thanked the Athletics and their fans in a statement on Twitter.
“I just want to say thank you to the Oakland Athletics organization for the time I spent there,” he said in the statement. “I played in some very memorable and spectacular games. I wouldn’t be where I’m at without Oakland. To my people in the RF bleachers: Never change.”
