Cowboys' Ezekiel Elliot visits marijuana shop in Seattle

Dallas Cowboys' owner and general manager Jerry Jones isn’t happy with rookie running back Ezekiel Elliot after he visited a marijuana shop in Seattle on Thursday.

According to TMZ, Elliot visited the “Herban Legends” weed shop in Belltown on Thursday. The shop is a five minute drive from the Seattle Space Needle. Video of Elliot in the shop doesn’t show Elliot making any purchases. While marijuana is legal in Washington state, it is still a banned substance in the NFL.

"Well, I think that in and of itself the reason we are talking about is in a way part of the learning process," Jones told ESPN. "But it's not good. It's just not good. It's just not good. Again, that's a part of just really getting the big picture here. I would know how he is, and he needs to look at that. And the other thing is it's just not good."

Elliot came to the Cowboys in this year’s draft. He is currently under investigation for an alleged domestic violence incident with a former girlfriend. Elliot has denied those accusations.

The running back made his Cowboys debut on Thursday night against the Seattle Seahawks after missing the first two preseason games due to a hamstring injury. Elliot had seven carries for 48 yards as the Cowboys lost 27-17.

Elliot was so impressive in his debut that people were talking about it on Twitter.
