Selena Gomez is experiencing some backlash over the Taylor Swift/Kim & Kanye "Famous" debacle, stemming from a careless tweet.
Last night, Kim Kardashian chose to refute Swift's claims of not knowing about the lyric in Kanye West's song "Famous" which he boasts "I made that b---h famous." She did this by posting video evidence of Swift's approval via Snapchat.
Gomez decided to speak in defense of her "Girl Squad" member on Twitter but according to most, made a fool out of herself instead.
"There are more important things to talk about. Why can't people use their voice for something that f---ing matters?" the "Kill 'Em With Kindness" singer ranted.
There are more important things to talk about... Why can't people use their voice for something that fucking matters?

A Twitter user questioned Gomez's hypocrisy saying "Good question! Why haven't you or Taylor said a thing about #BlackLivesMatter or police brutality?"

Gomez retorted with an answer that some deemed a "diss" to the anti-violence and Black Lives Matter movement.
reminder that @selenagomez just dissed the anti-violence black lives matter movement and reduced it to just a hashtag

I'm actually offended at that comment. Because you've been asked to speak out on important matters and your camp said "no thanks."

Gomez has since deleted the tweet in question but not before her Twitter sparring mate grabbed a picture of Gomez's "careless" response.
Baby girl @selenagomez did you hit 'delete' by accident? Don't worry, I took a screenshot for ya pic.twitter.com/OU0os8siQ4
