Michael Phelps headed to Rio after qualifying for fifth Olympic team (Video)

Already the most decorated Olympian of all time, swimmer Michael Phelps may have to clear out room for some more medals.

The 31-year-old Olympic gold medalist qualified for the Rio Olympics making him the first American male swimmer to qualify for five Olympic teams. Phelps finished first in the men's 200-meter butterfly, ahead of Tom Shields who also qualified for the team.

The swimmer's wife and son were also there to watch him make history, according to a Facebook Live video Phelps filmed after the meet.

Phelps admitted that although he wasn't too stoked about his speed he was happy to be on the team.

USA Today reports that Phelps still isn't quite finished, even though he has made the team. He will also be swimming the 100 fly and the 200 individual medley.
