Jennifer Lopez deletes her 'All Lives Matter' tweet

Almost every person can agree that our nation has gone through the ringer over the last couple days. We have mourned the death of Alton Sterling, Philando Castile and the five officers who were killed in the Dallas shooting on Thursday.

Last week's incidents have shown us that the subjects of race and police brutality are still a bleeding wound that desperately needs healing.

However, some may agree that Jennifer Lopez just poured some salt on that wound by tweeting the hashtag #AllLivesMatter on Monday after performing on the Today Show.

According to the Daily News, Lopez tweeted #AllLivesMatter to salute the performance of her new unity anthem "Love Make The World Go Round" in company with Lin-Manuel Miranda, creator of the Broadway show Hamilton.

Lopez and Miranda wrote the song to remember the individuals that were killed during the Orlando nightclub shooting last month.

For some who may not know, the phrase "All Lives Matter" can be extremely controversial to certain people.

For example, people who stand behind the term "Black Lives Matter" get offended when the term "All Lives Matter" is used because to them it seems like a scapegoat term.

Meaning some feel that the phrase can be used in a way that ignores the issues that the African American community deal with on a daily basis.

With that being said, the 46-year-old singer may have had a quick realization of  just how controversial the hashtag was because the tweet was soon deleted, as reported by Guardian.

However, the tweet didn't escape some of her fans who were quite offend by it.

Looks like this fan is more of a Shakira person now.

This one is definitely not fooled by the rocks that J-Lo's got.

I wonder if Puffy would approve?

And it disappeared ....

Lopez has not commented on her tweet or the immediate reactions it received.
