7. There are no (living) victims on Shark Week
Even if someone is featured on one of the specials that involve shark attacks, he or she has powered through. They don't hate the shark. They don't seek revenge. They may have their issues, but it seems like most have ventured into the water again. Sometimes, with more purpose. The family members of people who did not survive may not have the same closure that the survivors do, but they do not blame the shark either.
A great example of a shark attack survivor is Paul de Gelder, navy diver, who lost two limbs to a shark attack, but here he is still trying to educate and protect the species that hurt him.
