5.  Wildlife is always around

Just going into this challenge, one must have a healthy respect for the animal kingdom. Still, no one wants an angry mama bear charging in their direction and that is a reality on Alone. There are strict rules about preserving these creatures, and the players don’t have appropriate hunting materials anyway, so hearing growling or just activity could cause mere mortals to invest in some Depends. It’s bad enough that there are many bears and other predatory creatures around the contestants’ living areas, but even little creatures are a nuisance.  As many people fear mice, these destructive rodents eat through gear and are hard to shake.
