Top 10 reasons why the History Channel’s ‘Alone' may give you nightmares, but you have to keep watching anyway

10. What would you do for $500,000?

Watching people push their limits can make you question yours. Most people would do things they normally would not do for a nice chunk of change.  For the people on Alone, they are willing to be away from family and friends with no comforts and try to outlast everyone else for an undetermined period of time.  What would you do for X amount of money? This is a common party game, but I am guessing most people secretly would do a few things that they may be ashamed of doing.  For some, it is uncomfortable to be faced with the inner workings of your own mind where you even consider doing things that you know could be embarrassing, bad, hurtful, dangerous, mean, irresponsible and maybe even deadly for just a little bit of money.
