President Obama to visit Jimmy Fallon's 'Tonight Show' for first time

President Obama will join Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show, for the first time ever, on Thursday, June 9.

Obama has appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, but never on The Tonight Show. Back in 2012, Fallon did a Late Night show at the University of North Carolina and Obama was featured to help Fallon, "slow jam the news."

Obama visits the show two days after the primaries take place across the country on Tuesday. Fallon has had Bernie Sanders, Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump and other politicians visit the program, in the past.

Other programs Obama has been on include Ellen, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Late Show with David Letterman and Jimmy Kimmel Live! Now, Fallon gets a chance to interview the president.

Fallon took over Tonight Show duties in 2014 from Jay Leno and Seth Myers subsequently took over for Fallon on Late Night.
