Lady Gaga pays tribute to Orlando shooting victims during vigil in LA

Lady Gaga, a long time LGBT ally, shared her sympathies for the victims of the tragic mass shooting at the Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Florida at a vigil in Los Angeles on Monday evening.

“We mourn the tragic loss of these innocent, beautiful people," she said when speaking of the victims of the massacre that occurred over the weekend.

As she began to get emotional, she continued her speech saying, "I hope you know that myself and so many are your allies." This remark received applause from the audience. Gaga then removed her hat as she read off the names and ages of the 49 victims of the nightclub shooting.

Gaga had previously shown her love for the victims of the shooting on Twitter saying, "I pray for all the victims families during this shooting epidemic. That their pain be met with compassion and support from the world." She then posted another tweet saying, "It's a traumatizing & emotional time for a many people. I dream of the world reflecting on what we can do to change this violence. #Orlando"
