Donald Glover created, wrote and stars in Atlanta, an FX comedy series about the Atlanta rap scene that recently received its first teaser trailer.

The Atlanta-born Glover stars with Brian Tyree Henry (Boardwalk Empire), LaKeith Lee Stanfield (Straight Outta Compton), Zazie Beetz and Bret. E Benson. Paul Simms (Girls, Flight of the Conchords) will executive produce with Glover.
Hiro Murai directs the pilot. Murai worked with Glover on his music videos "Telegraph Ave" and "Sober." He also directed the Chet Faker music video "Gold."
Glover was a writer on NBC's 30 Rock before landing the role of Troy on Community. Around that time, his music career as Childish Gambino took off with Glover receiving two Grammy nominations. After leaving Community during the show's fifth season in 2014, Glover appeared in Magic Mike XXL and The Martian as well as providing music for Creed.
