'Batman v Superman' gets R-rated extended cut on Blu-ray

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, one of the highest-grossing films of all time, will make its way home with a ton of extra scenes and a new rating.

Coming to Digital HD June 28 on 4K, Blu-ray 3D and standard Blu-ray on July 19, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice comes with an extended cut that adds 30 minutes onto the 151-minute PG-13 theatrical running time. All Blu-ray combo packs come with a DVD copy and Ultraviolet copies of both the theatrical and extended cuts. The standalone DVD combo is just the theatrical cut and comes in a two-disc "Special Edition."
