Top 10 reasons why 'Outlander's' Jamie Fraser is our ginger-haired knight in kilted-armor

Jaime Fraser, Sam Heughan

10.  Jamie is a fast learner…in life

For a young man in the 18th century, Jamie has received quite a good education.  He speaks French; albeit, it is a little rough, but he can do it.  He learned to tend horses and knows when it is a good idea to retreat back into the barn to get a little quiet perspective.  He was able to navigate the complexities of French court, and while unsuccessful at stopping the upcoming war while he was in France, he gave it his all. He adapts to all situations, because he is willing to learn new things.  Though he still has some more learning to do if ever he is ever to be laird of Lallybroch.
