8. Her mind is a sponge
Claire isn’t just brilliant. She has a unique way of gathering information. When she first became aware of her change in temporal positioning, she was actively searching out cues to give her the more specific date and data on who is who. She is always seeking out information and goes about it through reading, observing and subtly interrogating friends and foes. While her uncle Quentin may have taught her survival skills, it was first husband Frank (played by Tobias Menzies) who taught her about gathering intelligence. Rule number one: be as truthful as possible.
