Time travel isn’t for wimps. One would have to get used to doing without. Due in part to her profound intellect, and her unique globe-trotting upbringing, Claire is able to go with almost any situation thrown her way. However, it is her profound people skills that endear her to so many. Her mantra may as well be “when in Rome….” as she can easily dye wool with urine with a bunch of strangers, explore an ancient castle, stroll around the gardens of Versailles, a ship en route to the West Indies, or bed a King to save her husband, she will roll with what is thrown her way.
