Olivia Pope aka Kerry Washington made an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Friday night.
Washington sat down with Fallon and talked about how she used to take dance classes as a child in her Bronx, New York hometown.
She mentioned having a very inspiring teacher named Larry Maldonado who taught her classes, but sometimes a substitute teacher name Jennifer would step in and teach.
"He had an awesome substitute teacher named Jennifer who would sometimes step in and teach but then she left to move to L.A. and be on In Living Color," said 39-year-old Washington.
Well that sounds an awful like someone we all know!
After giving the huge hint, Washington paused so that he could pick up on who she was talking about and then said, "I learned to dance from J.Lo!"
After establishing that both Washington and J-Lo are from "the block," she told Fallon that she still dances from time to time in her home.
She also said the most popular song that was played in her household would be "Work" by Rihanna.
After revealing Scandal was picked up for its sixth season, Fallon asked Kerry what it was like trying to act out the very dramatic scenes in the show.
The Scandal star revealed that she has a "secret weapon coach," who just happens to be her adorable puppy Josie, short for Josephine Baker.
She said Josie's presence helped her remember her lines while on set.
