Pay day has come for Iggy Azalea - but this time, she's the one paying up. The rapper owes the IRS nearly $400,000 in unpaid income taxes.
On April 4, E! News reported that the singer owes the Internal Revenue Services $391,056.55, due to unpaid income taxes from 2014 - the year her hit single "Fancy" was released.
Azalea recently spoke out about how she's handling the payments, claiming that the media coverage of the dated story was only due to the recent rumors of her fiance, LA Laker Nick Young, cheating on her, after a video surfaced in which he appears to admit to infidelity. Azalea even dubbed the coverage #IggyNovela, calling it a "soap opera."
Peep the way when one thing happens media scrambles to keep adding on to the storyline, like a soap opera. #IggyNovela

Though with the recent release of the first single off her new album, it appears Azalea surely can afford to make her monthly payments - and reap the benefits of the extra press. As we previously reported, the first single off the new album is "Team," for which the rapper already released a viral music video. The new album will be titled Digital Distortion.
