Guns N' Roses reunite for surprise performance (Video)

Rock band Guns N' Roses reunited for the first time since 1993 for a surprise performance on April 1.

The band played at Los Angeles' Troubadour music venue, reported ABC News and the tickets sold out within minutes, costing around $10.

Even though fans weren't permitted to take pictures or record the show, they still shared the big news on social media.

It's the first performance singer Axl Rose and guitarist Slash have done together since the Buenos Aires concert on July 17, 1993. Duff McKagan was also there to perform.

The band was joined by longtime keyboardist Dizzy Reed, guitarist Richard Fortus, drummer Frank Ferrer, and new keyboardist Melissa Reese, Guns N'Roses' first female band member. They started the concert by performing "It's So Easy" and "Mr. Brownstone."

Hours after the Troubadour concert was announced, the band made announced their Not in This Lifetime Tour. The tour begins on June 23 at Detroit's Ford Field and ends on Aug. 22 at San Diego's Qualcomm Park. Before the tour, the band will perform six more concerts in April, including two in Las Vegas and two in Mexico City. They will also be performing on Coachella weekends April 16 and April 23.
