Stacey Dash calls Leonardo DiCaprio's Oscars speech 'too much' and compares him to Chicken Little

Stacey Dash has become a polarizing figure lately and she really confused people with an Oscars skit that fell flat last month. She’s now criticizing Leonardo DiCaprio for his speech that focused on global warming.

Dash compared the Best Actor winner to “Chicken Little” in a blog post on Thursday, March 10, criticizing him for using his platform for speaking out on environmental issues close to his heart.

Although she started off the blog post saying his win for his role in The Revenant was “truly deserved,” she called some of the speech “too much.”

“He reminds me of Chicken Little, the bird who ran around the neighborhood and disturbed everyone ‘with her foolish alarm,’” she wrote.

Dash went on to post “facts” refuting DiCaprio’s claims about climate change, and went on to point out issues she thinks are more important.

“There are people 10 miles from Leo starving, stuck on entitlement,” she wrote. “Twenty first century NAZIS to deal with and North Koreans playing with nukes. He needs to get his priorities straight. I would leave him alone, except that his rhetoric isn’t cheap.”
