Sarah Palin cancels Donald Trump campaign events due to husband's 'bad' snow mobile accident

Sarah Palin has canceled planned appearances at Donald Trump’s campaign stops on Monday, March 14 after her husband Todd Palin got into a serious snow mobile accident in Alaska on Sunday.

Palin had a few appearances scheduled in Florida but had to return home to Alaska upon hearing the news of her husband’s accident.

"Todd Palin was in a bad snow machine accident last night and is currently hospitalized,” Trump’s campaign told NBC News in a statement. The statement continued that Palin was heading to her husband’s side but “looks forward to being back on the campaign trail soon.”

Palin’s campaign event at The Villages, Florida was canceled just moments before its start time at noon on March 14.

The former Alaskan governor and vice presidential candidate first endorsed Trump back in January.
