Netflix renews ‘Fuller House’ for season two

Fuller House, beloved by Full House fans and derided by critics, is getting a second season.

Netflix announced the news on Twitter, writing, “Your list will get even fuller.” The streaming service also included a 10-second video.

Fuller House stars Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber reprising their original Full House roles, but now they are the adults in the story. John Stamos, Bob Saget, Dave Coulier and Lori Loughlin all made cameo appearances throughout the 13-episode first season.

Unfortunately, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen did not come back to play Michelle Tanner. While on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Cameron Bure, Sweetin and Barber said that they would welcome the twins if Netflix renewed the show for a second season, so hopefully at least a cameo is possible.

Fuller House wasn’t met with good reviews from TV critics, but neither was the original Full House. Clearly, the reviews didn’t stop fans from checking it out.
