JoJo Fletcher began filming her season of The Bachelorette and is now speaking about her experience thus far and her relationship with Bachelor Ben Higgins on March 25.
Fletcher spoke to Good Morning America to describe her rejection on The Bachelor and new journey as Bachelorette. "I went into that morning feeling like I was going to get engaged," Fletcher said of the final rose. "I had mentally prepared myself for that, but you know, it didn't work out."
Fletcher then revealed that she does not communicate with Higgins anymore and that her first priority is her friendship with his fiancée, Lauren Bushnell.
As Bachelorette, Fletcher said she is looking for a trustworthy man to make her feel protected. Of her men this season she said, "I'm connecting with these guys. I'm having fun with them. I'm actually feeling feelings, which I didn't expect so early on."
Filming for The Bachelorette began on March 16 as Fletcher met her group of 25 men.
