Iggy Azalea debuts new single 'Team' with dance-filled video

Iggy Azalea is back with a new self-empowerment jam - and a new video to go along with it.

On March 18, the rapper posted a video to her Vevo account featuring her new track, "Team" - as well as a squad of seriously color-coordinated dancers.

Though the track professes the singer's independence - "Baby I got me/Only friend I need/is someone like me/playing on team" - some of her most recent work has been high-profile female collaborations. Those collaborations include "Trouble" with Jennifer Hudson, "Black Widow" with Rita Ora and even "Pretty Girls," a track with the former princess of pop herself, Britney Spears.

Fans have known about the singer's new music for quite some time now. As we previously reported, Azalea announced her upcoming album, for which "Team" is the lead single, via Twitter back in December 2015. Rap-Up notes that the new album will be titled Digital Distortion. She also took to Twitter to share her inspiration for the song:
