Humans of New York founder writes open letter to Donald Trump, says opposition is a 'moral' decision

Humans of New York founder Brandon Stanton penned an open letter to Donald Trump accusing him of racism, prejudice and encouraging violence.

Stanton, who has interviewed Muslims in Iran, Iraq and Pakistan, told the GOP presidential candidate that he is opposing him in this year’s election for many reasons.

He wrote, “Along with millions of Americans, I’ve come to realize that opposing you is no longer a political decision. It is a moral one.”

Stanton also called Trump “hateful” and accused him of advocating and encouraging violence.

“Those of us who have been paying attention will not allow you to rebrand yourself,” he concluded. “You are not a ‘unifier.’ You are not ‘presidential.’ You are not a ‘victim’ of the very anger that you’ve joyfully enflamed for months. You are a man who has encouraged prejudice and violence in the pursuit of personal power.”
