Henry Cavill walks around Times Square as Superman, going unnoticed

Henry Cavill proved how Superman can walk among people as Clark Kent with barely any disguise in an Instagram video on March 16 in Times Square.

Cavill posted the video with the caption, "Dear Doubter, The glasses are good enough. Regards, Superman."

The actor was referring to Clark Kent's minimal disguise of glasses to distinguish himself from Superman, something that most people poke fun at the improbability.

Cavill was right, however. He traveled to Times Square around crowds of people and wore a Superman shirt to prove his point. Cavill was not even wearing glasses like Clark Kent would and he still wasn't recognized.

Dear Doubter, The glasses are good enough. Regards, Superman #WhoWillWin #Superman

Cavill also walked to an area of Times Square featuring billboards of movie posters for his new movie, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Even standing near representations of himself as Superman did not cause people to recognize or notice Cavill.

As we previously reported, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will be one of the longest superhero film ever and will hit theaters on March 25, 2016.
