Comedy Central has announced renewals and extensions for eight of its current series in a press release Tuesday.
Comedy Central will be renewing Tosh.0 for its ninth season, along with Drunk History, This is Not Happening and digital series Alternatino, Nothin's Easy and Questionable Science.
Its new series Not Safe with Nikki Glaser has had its first season extended 10 more episodes, making the total episode count for the season 20 episodes, according to Deadline.
Review, with Andy Daly, was also renewed for a truncated third and final season, as we previously reported. But don't cry for Andy Daly; Deadline reports that the comedian has already snagged a starring role in the upcoming ABC sitcom Chunk and Bean.
Also returning to Comedy Central are Broad City, which we reported was renewed for an additional two seasons, and South Park, which will be on at least through its 23rd season. Comedy Central also announced the premiere dates for shows that are returning this spring. They include:
- Time Traveling Bong – special-event, three-night series premieres April 20 (more info)
- Inside Amy Schumer – season four debuts April 21
- Tosh.0 – summer season debuts June 7
- Not Safe with Nikki Glaser – summer season debuts June 7
- Another Period – season two debuts June 15
