Cancellation of Janet Jackson's European leg of 'Unbreakable' tour blamed on ticket sales

It appears that ticket sales might be the culprit behind Janet Jackson's canceled European dates on her Unbreakable tour.

According to Page Six, Janet Jackson canceled several of her European tour dates. Emails were sent to fans who purchased tickets, offering refunds for the canceled shows. Fans weren't given an explanation as to why the shows were canceled. However, sources said that poor ticket sales were a contributing factor.

“She was about to flop, badly," an insider told Page Six.

However, Live Nation, the company producing Jackson's tour, said ticket sales were fine. They blame the cancellations on conflicts related to Jackson's other business ventures.

"[I]t didn’t make any sense to keep all the dates," a source at Live Nation said. “She has other businesses — some music, some brand-related. Janet has a complicated life. Her schedule was getting crazy, so we decided to pull this thing down ."

But all may not be lost for European fans hoping to see Ms. Jackson in concert. Janet tweeted out to her fans after the show dates were canceled:
