Anna Kendrick, the reigning queen of Twitter wit, has just ensnared a fellow actor with her skills as she and Kellan Lutz have been exchanging tweets about dicing butternut squash.
Yes, you read that right. On March 28, Kendrick took to Twitter to express a tongue-and-cheek sentiment soliciting someone - namely, a "strapping muscular man" - to help her chop her vegetable of choice.
Hi, I'm Anna, I'm alone tonight and I'm looking for a strapping muscular man to come over because butternut squash is hard to dice. ????????????

It wasn't long before Kellan Lutz stepped up to the plate (pun intended), tweeting back at Kendrick, under the guise of obtaining more specifics about her cutting situation.
Hi, Anna, What kind of a knife do you have? ???? https://t.co/uC5najK785
— Kellan Lutz (@kellanlutz) March 28, 2016
It also wasn't long before other stars - namely actress Alyssa Milano - chimed in on their foodie flirtation:
Get a room @AnnaKendrick47 and @kellanlutz! ????
— Alyssa Milano (@Alyssa_Milano) March 30, 2016
Lutz was unflustered by the interruption, however, and gamely parried.
The kitchen ???????? https://t.co/5UvIkfC1Nt

As usual, though, Anna won the Twitter game, by wrapping up the discussion with an impressively obscure but germane reference to Lutz's guest-starring gig on Tina Fey's 30 Rock, in which he played an infantilized version of himself.
@kellanlutz Oh it's a WHOLE thing now boy! #clickbait (I love the confidence. Just bring the marshMALLows #️⃣3️⃣0️⃣????)
— Anna Kendrick (@AnnaKendrick47) March 29, 2016
Lutz, of course, approved.
Mi lady, you always said, "Go Big or Go Home!" ???? Copy that on the 'MALLOWS, hopefully my uncle @ShutupLutz saved 'em https://t.co/AsydR1iJiF

This isn't the most bizarre topic Kendrick's spoken of as of late. As we reported, she recently opened up about having a butt double for a nude scene for her role in Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates, which will hit theaters on July 8.
