Victoria Beckham is known for being impeccably dressed anywhere she goes, usually sporting sky-high heels with her demure outfits. But the fashion designer has revealed that her days of wearing heels are mostly over.
In a new interview with The Telegraph, Beckham said she’s choosing comfort these days. She explained her collections have shifted their focus to “making getting dressed easy,” and of course, remaining “flattering.”
“I just can’t do heels any more. At least not when I’m working,” she explained. “I travel a lot. Clothes have to be simple and comfortable.”
Earlier this month, Beckham ditched her heels while showing her Fall 2016 collection at New York Fashion Week.
Known as Posh Spice during her Spice Girls days, Beckham has come a long way from her statement in 2008 that she can’t “concentrate in flats,” MailOnline reports.
She said at the time, “I could go to the gym if I wore flats, I'd love to go to the gym, but I just can't get my head around the footwear.”
