Ryan Reynolds used his antihero character, Deadpool, from the movie released on Feb. 12 to spoof Kanye West's backstage Saturday Night Live rant.
Reynolds posted his video on both his YouTube channel and Twitter, and in it he used explicit, not-safe-for-work content. Reynolds joked that Deadpool was also supposed to host SNL years ago until the rant.
Actually DEADPOOL was going to host back in the 90s, but then this happened. Thank god Tom Hanks was available. https://t.co/7pyPEMysdY

Reynolds began his rant with: "Listen up, Lorne Michaels… SNL took my f---ing Life of Pablo album without asking. Now I'm bummed. That and R.I.P. Taylor. Fake-a--! I'mma break the motherf---king Internet." He then continued to compare his influence to figures such MC Hammer, Barbara Bush, the Muppets, etc., declaring himself as better.
The original rant occurred on Feb. 13 after West found that part of his set had changed. In it, West threatens to leave the show, Entertainment Tonight reported.
