'Pretty Little Liars' Recap: 'Do Not Disturb'

On this week’s episode of Pretty Little Liars, Hanna is given an ultimatum by the PLLs’ new cyber-stalker, Emily finally donates her eggs, and Team Sparia reunites to dig up dirt on Sara Harvey.

Aria returns home to hear her father’s big news. When she gets settled in, Byron confesses that he’s been seeing someone and has kept it a secret from her. Enter Aria’s mother, Ella, wearing an engagement ring; Aria’s parents are getting back together. Shocked, Aria tries to appear happy, but she still seems concerned her father might not be telling her the whole truth. Meanwhile, Spencer and Hanna both text Aria to get updates on Byron’s revelation.

Cue opening theme.

Jordan accidentally drops a wine bottle, waking Hanna. They’re supposed to catch a car in five, but they’ve both overslept and aren’t ready to leave. Simultaneously, Hanna receives a text from the PLLs’ new cyber-stalker demanding she hand over the Radley’s backup drive or her relationship with Jordan will suffer. Hanna conceals this information from her fiancé, making an excuse to stay behind so she can handle her problem. Initially skeptical, Jordan agrees to let Hanna hang back.

Spencer and Caleb drink coffee in bed and discuss whether or not they should go to the cops about the texts. They also speculate on the identity of the sender before things take a more sensual turn.

Hanna and Emily chat about Emily’s upcoming procedure to donate her eggs, and Emily mentions being weirded out about a text Ali sent. Emily wonders why Ali always goes to her with her problems first and leaves Hanna, Aria and Spencer out of the loop. Hanna tells Emily to calm down, then accepts a video call from her boss Claudia. Claudia wants new models for her trunk show later that night.

Aria calls Ezra and attempts to leave a voicemail with little avail; his message inbox is full. Barely a beat later, Ella enters to check on her daughter. Ella wants to make sure Aria is truly okay with her parents getting back together, because she didn’t seem too thrilled after their announcement. Aria reassures her mother she is happy; she just thought something else was going on given Charlotte’s recent death. Ella says she and Byron distanced themselves from the Charlotte situation, so as to not influence Aria's opinion on her release and the fact that Byron was with her the entire night Charlotte was killed. Aria is relieved.

Hanna shows up at her mother’s house unannounced and asks why Ashley stole the backup drive. Ashley denies taking anything and suggests that Hanna be grateful the footage has been erased. When Ashley leaves, Hanna combs through her house to find the drive, even enlisting Aria’s help. Hanna is frustrated when they come up short, but Aria says they only have to trick Sara Harvey—whom they believe to be their new cyber-stalker—into thinking they’re giving her what she wants.

Dr. Rollins visits Emily, relaying a message from Ali. Ali wants to see Emily, so she can apologize. Emily says it’s bad timing just as Dr. Rollins spots a form from the fertility clinic and realizes Emily’s serious. Annoyed, Emily asks him to leave.

Spencer makes a phone call to Gill, who’s part of her mother’s campaign team. They were supposed to meet for lunch, but Gill never got the calendar reminder, so he’s a no-show. At the same time, Spencer sees Yvonne. Spencer had set up a meeting beforehand, but Yvonne never received a meeting request, since she doesn’t handle her own scheduling and her assistant didn’t think to forward Spencer’s contact info. Yvonne admits she’s surprised that Spencer reached out, despite the success of the town hall they did together. Spencer says she wanted to hear Yvonne’s advice on being a candidate’s daughter. Before the pair head inside The Grille to grab lunch, Spencer calls and updates Caleb. He thinks the PLLs’ new cyber-stalker is trying to brew trouble by using Yvonne as a pawn.

Dr. Rollins apologizes to Ali for what happened with Emily. Ali brushes him off, reminding him how helpful he’s been throughout her entire grieving process. From afar, Sara Harvey watches their entire exchange.

Spencer chats with Yvonne about handling privacy and trust when under scrutiny, and all seems to go well. When Yvonne leaves, Spencer notices that she dropped her phone, though she doesn’t return it.

Ali grades papers when Sara Harvey shows up. She claims they should make something good come out of Charlotte’s death by putting together the pieces of who they each knew her as. Ali is visibly unnerved and soon collects her things to leave.

Hanna texts the girls’ new stalker that she has the backup drive, while picking up a decoy from Caleb. Enter Spencer, who informs them she has Yvonne’s phone, and Caleb offers to use it to assist in tracing the text's signal. Meanwhile, Hanna makes a speedy exit when she receives a frantic call from Claudia.

Emily gathers her things in preparation for her procedure when Ali drops by. Ali knows Emily’s upset with her, but she wanted to tell her about Sara Harvey. Emily doesn’t really have the time to listen and mentions Dr. Rollins’ visit and her donation. Ali offers to accompany Emily to the hospital, so she won’t have to go alone.

At the Radley, Aria talks with Hanna on the phone and thinks she hears activity coming from Sara’s room.

Spencer returns Yvonne’s phone to The Grille. Enter Mona, who says she’s been looking for it and will promise not to tell Yvonne that Spencer held onto it. Spencer doesn’t believe Mona and thinks Mona’s trying to set her up. Mona insists otherwise.

Hanna receives a text with instructions about where to leave the backup drive and drops it off at the specified location. As Hanna prepares to head out, she gets another call from Claudia. Hanna promises to make it back to New York for Claudia’s show by 6:30 at the latest. From nearby, a black car watches Hanna go.

Emily signs paperwork at the hospital and tells Ali she doesn’t have to wait around. Ali says she’s not leaving.

Aria hears a fight between Sara Harvey and Ashley while making a phone call for work.

Emily starts to feel the sedatives begin to take effect and freaks out when she sees Sara inject something into her IV. When the procedure is over, Ali reassures her that nothing happened and the drugs are still in her system.

Team Sparia reunites to break into Sara’s room at the Radley.

Following Emily’s procedure, the nurse tells her the couple who wanted her eggs no longer needs them, so she can either freeze them or destroy them, but there’s a cost involved. Emily really wants to donate them somewhere, and the nurse says the hospital can send them to an egg bank, before running off to handle the paperwork.

Hanna arrives late to Claudia’s office, only to find out she’s been replaced with a new assistant. When Hanna calls Claudia out on talking down to her new gopher, Claudia becomes furious and insists that Hanna apologize. Hanna refuses, immediately killing her chances of being rehired.

Spencer and Aria search for clues and find a glove under Sara’s bed.

Caleb begins to trace the text’s origin using Yvonne’s phone. While working, he finds a password-protected folder named “Hastings Opposition Research” and is curious to know what it contains.

Team Sparia expands their search and splits up. Spencer finds more gloves and a map of the Radley when it was still a sanitarium. Charlotte’s room is labeled in bright red ink.

Hanna worries that Claudia will blackball her, since she didn’t beg for her job back. Jordan comforts her by arranging to talk to some of his colleagues at the magazine where he works and see if he can find her something new. Hanna also says she doesn’t want to go back to Rosewood.

Spencer finds another map of the Radley. She determines that Sara’s suite is Charlotte’s old room. When Spencer goes looking for Aria to tell her what she's found, Aria is gone. Spencer searches inside Sara's closet where Aria last was and spots a giant hole in the wall. There’s also a ladder perched on the ground below.

Emily's resting up from her procedure when there’s a knock at the door. Thinking it’s Hanna, Emily goes to answer it, but instead she finds a bag with a carton of eggs at her doorstep. Inside is a note: “Give me the killer, or I’ll use your eggs.”

The PLLs’ new cyber-stalker goes to load the backup drive to a computer, when a video message from Caleb plays. He says he’s helping the girls change the rules of the game. Immediately afterwards, a virus loads onto the computer. The drive is now inaccessible, and the directory is unreadable.

End of episode.

Pretty Little Liars airs every Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. on Freeform.
