Playboy releases first non-nude issue with Sarah McDaniel on the cover and Dree Hemingway as the centerfold

Playboy has released its first non-nude issue, which features Sarah McDaniel on the March cover and Dree Hemingway as the centerfold.

McDaniel’s spread is social media-themed, which is fitting since she’s best known as an Instagram and Snapchat star.

Playboy Enterprises CEO Scott Flanders released a statement about the first issue with no nudity, saying, “I know I speak for all involved when I say that creating this new Playboy magazine has been a labor of love for those fortunate enough to work on it.”

He added, “We are exceptionally proud of the end result and are confident that everyone will enjoy reading it as much as we did creating it.”

As we previously reported, back in October Playboy announced their new redesign a significant drop in their circulation; from 5.6 million in the ‘70s to about 800,00 copies today.
