Kate McKinnon and Kumail Nanjiani parody the Oscar-nominated dramas 'Room' and 'Carol'

You may not have had time to see the Oscar-nominated films Room and Carol before tonight, but the good news is you've still got time to see Kate McKinnon and Kumail Nanjiani's parodies of them.

Yesterday, Film Independent posted the videos featuring the hosts to YouTube. The parodies were segments from last night's Independent Spirit Awards on IFC, which McKinnon and Nanjiani co-hosted.

The Room parody follows the hosts as they are escorted to - and eventually trapped in - the pre-show green room, poking fun at the claustrophobia the film is liable to induce, while the Carol parody takes shots at 1950s cuisine and etiquette.

As we previously reported, McKinnon's upcoming projects include the all-female Ghostbusters reboot, as well as Office Christmas Party alongside Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman. As E! News reports, Nanjiani will co-star in the upcoming romantic comedy The Late Bloomer.
